Restaurants

During our stays on Tenerife, we have visited a number of very nice restaurants to be recommended (all phone numbers are local).

The food and the wine comes from all parts of the world; Spanish, Chinese, Italian, Mexican, Thail, Lebanese and many more.

Our experience was that some of the best restaurants, and still reasonable prizes, was away from the tourist areas.

Asking some of the local people might give you a surprisingly good gourmet evening.

Just remember, the locals don't go out to dinner in shorts and beachwear. Long trousers and a nice shirt are normal at several of the mentioned places.
