VW Touran 1,4 TSI (11)

In May 2016, it was time to upgrade again, my Touran TDI was closing up on 200 000 km.

The new series VW has been upgraded both externally and internally, and the Touran 2016 is both longer and wider than the previous modems. It's once again a very practical familiy car, this time i chose the 1.5 turbo petrol engine (150hp) and the 7-level smooth automatic DSG gear. The experience driving this car is really something else, and it suits our daily demands having two children and a dog.

My 11th car looks to be the all-time high when in comes to comfort and economy. And still plenty of space, and 2 extra seats, in the back..

Fiat Uno (2)

After graduating from the technical College in 1986, I bought myself a brand new Fiat Uno 60s.

It served me well in two years going to work in Sarpsborg every day, and to Oslo a lot of weekends during basketball season.

Fiat Uno Turbo i.e. (3)

My second Fiat was a very hot-tempered (!) Fiat Uno Turbo i.e. (105 HK), doing 210 km/h and 0-100 on appr. 8,5 seconds!

No wonder I crashed it..

Toyota Corolla (1)

When I started my education in Sarpsborg in 1984, I bought this 1972 Toyota Corolla as my first car.

After two years, my brother used it when he went to the same school. This car went a lot of kilometers!!

It eventually burned up after a malfunction in the electronic system.

It was my first and last Toyota.

Fiat Tipo (4 & 5)

After that I tried out two different models of Fiat Tipo, both my white 1.4 (60 HK) and the blue 1.6 (90 HK) before buying on of the new models that first came in 1995 and represented a new and fresh start for Fiat.

Fiat Brava (6)

My 1997 model Fiat Brava 1.6, pictured right in the surroundings of Fredriksten fortress in Halden, served me without any trouble for 2 years, going more than 60.000 km.
